Slots:

How to play: The object of slots is to line up combinations of characters, whether they be fruit, number symbols, playing-card denominations, or character-based, in order to win money based on the concomitant payout for hitting such a combination.

Each slot game has a number of “paylines,” a string of three to five boxes, depending on the number of reels the given slot machine has. The number of paylines may number anywhere from 1 to 100, and this determines both the bet per spin and opportunities for a win. Slots players can play any number of paylines offered, but the overwhelmingly simply cover them all on every spin. This is done by clicking on the BET MAX button.
(It’s max paylines, not max money!)

Sometimes a spin results in free spins or a bonus video round. Both are what slots players lust after – lots of opportunities to score a big jackpot quickly!

Good-as-silver tip:
Budget, budget, budget! This cannot be overemphasized. Yes, the big wins are out there; literally, every day, slots players walk away from the computer with tens of thousands or more. However, some days luck just isn’t with you and there is no reason, as the old saying goes, to throw good money after bad.
Come back when the luck returns to you.

Roulette:

DownloadRouletteHow to play: The croupier spins a slotted wheel on way and rolls a tiny ball the other.

Bet on the number of the slot in which you think the ball falls. Easy, right?

The game is simple in principle, and the only complexity comes the options you have in placing bets on the board. Wagering options include the “Straight Bet,” in which the player simply chooses one number; the “Split Bet,” which covers two numbers when a chip is place on a line between the two; a “Corner Bet” covers four adjacent numbers on the table.

A “Five Bet” covers the numbers 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3; to do this, place a chip on the line between 0 and 1 on the table.

You may also bet on whether the winning number is colored red or black; whether it is numbered 1-18 or 19-36; whether even or odd; if it falls between 1-12, 13-24, or 25-36 first third, second third, or third; or any combination thereof.

Good-as-silver tip: Perhaps the most famous actual player’s-edge kind of tip out there for roulette is Andres Martinez’ “Dopey Experiment.” Divide your budget up into 35 equal pieces and bet the same number every time. If you hit once within the 35 spins – and the odds of doing so are just over 60% − you’re automatically ahead. Now, this is rather a boring way of playing roulette online, but devoted part of your roulette bankroll to this strategy may not be a bad idea.

Blackjack:

Multihand BlackJackHow to play: Before a hand of two cards is dealt to the player, he/she must bet by placing chips in the betting box in front of his/her position at the table. The objective in blackjack is to get as close to a score of 21 without going over. Add up the score by counting face cards as ten and all other cards as equal to the denomination therein. Aces equal either one or 11 points, whichever is more advantageous to the dealer. An ace plus a ten or face card is the titular “blackjack”: Automatically a winner at a 3:2 pay out.

After the deal, if the dealer has blackjack, it is revealed, and all players not holding blackjack automatically lose. If not, the player is given an option to “Hit” (i.e. take another card to increase the total of the hand) or “Stand” (i.e. keep your total the same by not taking another card). The dealer will then take cards until either hitting 17 or higher.

Good-as-silver tip:
Though many players like to vary bets based on streaks, the more conservative way to play is to keep the bet the same in every hand. If you do wish to change up the amounts of your bets, remember to 1) start small, 2) resist the urge to “catch up” to losses too quickly, and 3) set a maximum single-bet amount for yourself before you start.

Video Poker:

Video PokerHow to play: The player is dealt five cards from a 52-card deck (or a 53-card deck if playing with a joker) with which to make the best possible poker hand. He/she then has the option can draw between zero and five cards, discarding the appropriate number; choose which cards to keep by clicking on the HOLD button below the given card(s).
High-enough hands win a payout based on rank.

Good-as-silver tip:
After you are dealt the initial five cards, the software will automatically choose cards to keep for the draw. Always check them!  You may have a better idea, or decide to take a risk. For example, suppose you are dealt an ace and a joker. This is an automatic winner and so HOLD will come up on the ace and joker. But what if the ace is a spade and you have two other spades? You might want to hold those, too. And what if you have four cards to a royal flush? Would you really take the computer’s suggestion to keep the pair of jacks? An extra look could make all the difference in winning those mid-range payouts.
